CNAME alias not working
We recently got a CNAME entry created (lithiumstage.companyname.com) and pointed it to our staging server - companyname.stage.lithium.com. We also got all of our developers machines white-listed. Everything is working fine for the developers in our area except for me and another developer. When we hit our alias URL - lithiumstage.companyname.com, it always results in a "Forum Maintenance" page. I have tried clearing my browser cache, tried a different browser, tried re-booting my PC, and even changing my network password (thinking it's maybe an internal SSO thing). But no luck. Has anyone seen this problem before?
Looks like we got it working. It was a network device caching problem on our end. If you hit CTRL-F5 it will put a special instruction in the HTTP header to force a refresh. This is what solved our problem.
