Community Session timeout

I understand that the auto session time out for community is configurable.

I have to run a task(JS) when the user logs out/session times out.

I have it working when user manually logs out using sign out option.

How do I implement the same before the user session times out, is there a way I can trigger this task based on the session timeout?
