Consume RSS Feed from a third party to Lithium Platform

Hi,

Can you please help me in implementing following requirement.

Requirement:

 We'd like to consume the RSS feed found on any Third Party site to create new threads on a board on Lithium Platform (Community).

The idea on our end is to use a user profile that would be made specifically for this (for example, create a username called: rssfeed). When a new post on Third Party site occurs, the idea is that it would automatically create a thread on the board on Lithum platform  which would pull mirror the third party content. 

No further mirroring would be neccessary, only the title, and the content. No need to pull in comments.

    Hi rahulsince1984 

     

    from a Lithium perspective you can definitely post content in the community in a programmatic way, by using the REST API. Most of your requirement seem to be around the integration with the external third party to pull the data automatically: it could be that there are other developers or customers that may be willing to share their experience in this area.

     

    Other than that, if required Lithium Professional Services can look into the specifics of your scenario, and determine feasibility / scope up a custom integration for your use case.
