Custom Forum Topic Page - where is it set?

I'm trying to create a specific custom forum topic page for a specific board.    Where is this setting applied?

 

Here's what I see in the admin console - I expect to see a "Forum Topic" option.

 

Am I missing something?

    An option would not be displayed until custom page does not exist with the required naming convention.

    So first, you have to create a custom forum topic page using the same naming convention as ForumTopicPage.PageName. Then you will get the option for the forum topic. Refer screenshot for naming convention

    Thanks for explaining a totally non-intuitive part of the admin UI.   

     

    Should I assume this works consistently throughout the platform for the other discussion styles?  (TKB, Ideas, Groups, etc)

    It's like anything if you dont know the answer it's not clear, read the guide and it makes sense....

    Once you've created a custom page layout you can use that anywhere in the community and works the same way for other custom page layouts.

    Yes, but you have to create their respective custom pages i.e. for forum --> ForumTopicPage.PageName and for TKB --> TKBArticlePage.PageName etc.
