Is there anyway we can find out the delete topics/post in the community . Is there any audit logs or API calls available for it.

You may find "Audit logs" where you can get all the details related to post deleted.
Navigation:- Admin - > MOD TOOLS - > Audit Logs.

Did you try below api call to get the details regarding deleted post.
API Call:- /restapi/vc/messages/id/[id] /deleted
