Do you ever add code to the Global Wrapper?

We are pulling out corporate header and some css -  it was placed in the Global skin wrapper AND the Desktop skin wrapper - am I safe in removing it from the Global (top level) skin wrapper? does an...

    Hi LainieH

     

    code added to the global wrapper is applied to both Desktop and Mobile (if you are using the Mobile adaptive feature). If you then add further code in either the Desktop or Mobile specific one, then that code will replace what was added at the global level.

     

    If you do not use Mobile, then you can put your code in either area - it doesn't matter. I usually try to leave the global empty unless there is a good reason to have the same code across all devices.
