Float topic to the top for all users via REST API

Question

For a topic we have 2 options "Float topic to the top" (floats the topic for the user) & "Float topic for all users".

What API call could be used to float a topic for all users? We tried using the edit message API passing the attribute "message.float_type=thread", but this floats the topic only for the current user.

Anyone tried this before?

Please look at MessageSubscriptionContext -> global/add functionality. you could use something like
http:///community.lithium.com/community-name/restapi/vc/messages/id/3/subscriptions/global/add?subscription.type=float
