Go To Page / Jump to Page

Hi Folks, 

 

We're looking at the overall design of our community just now and the idea was brought up about introducing an option to Jump to a particular page within a thread or message list where there are multiple pages.

 

Currently we have the options to navigate through the next few pages and the last few pages using the page number links displayed at the top and bottom of the list display.

 

Is it possible to implement an option to allow the user to specify which page they would like to jump to in the list by either entering this manually or selecting the page number from a menu?

    hi,
    i think it should be possible to add a custom component on the message page layout which would display the pages number in a dropdown list, and redirect (with a window.location) to the right page (only "/page/pagenumber" parameter is added to the message's url )
