How can I customise a rank notification message?

Would be nice to have the option to customize every rank message. So you can for e.g. tell the user when they reach a certaind rank, that they now have benn granted a special privilege or something like that.

Definitely agree with you there. There are actually a couple ideas on our Idea Exchange for this:

I believe the first one is the one currently being tracked, so if this is something you feel strongly about I'd definitely suggest Kudoing and commenting on the idea!

 

Edit: It appears the status of the Idea i linked is out of date. Based on this TKB article, it appears this is now possible:
