How can I get subscription counts of Products?

Hi all,

When a user is on a Product page, they have the option to subscribe to that Product. I'm simply trying to get a count of how many users have subscribed to a given Product. Is this possible? If so, how?

I've found the subscription API, but it only ever returns  subscriptions for me, not for all users.

In the Community API v1 I've also found how to get subscription stats for Boards, but it appears that that endpoint is missing for Products.

Subscriptions to Products events are also not part of the Bulk Data API.

Am I missing something?
