How can I over ride the default avatar component on the community level?

I want to add a pop-over functionality whenever an avatar is displayed that shows some user details. Is this possible? I have created a custom component to use on the view-profile page. But ultimatel...

have you had a look at the following KB article ? It has a few good pointers to override the behaviour of the core lithium components.

Hey PaoloT,

Yeah, I've looked at that article before and it seems like the right direction ... however when I tested this I couldn't find the right component to override. Maybe, you could point me to the right place to get this info.? If it helps I first saw this functionality on the Google Adwords community and would like to try and implement something similar.
