How to change default TKB template

If you want to apply it to a specific board then you have to create a custom page which will be mapped with that board.  On that custom page, you can apply that layout.

   I have created a page by overriding TKBMessageMain page as mentioned in link https://community.lithium.com/t5/Support-Forum/Page-Name-List/m-p/282881. But How can I link this new TKBMessageMain page to a TKB page?

TKB custom page Naming convention should be like this TKBPage.PageName(in your case TKBPage.TKBMessageMain )

Please refer the below screenshot and change the  TKB page option from default to the new one you created. It would not be displayed in options if you will not follow the naming convention.

This custom page will set as TKB board page. Not to TKB's.

For example:

I have to remove the right side contents of TKB page shown in below image.

But what you are suggesting will set the page as  TKB home page.

For some reason I don't see TKB or TKB Article as options for layout changes, though I do see other node types. Did this change at some point?

atomicbot It's kind of silly, but you need to save a custom created quilt first and then the options will show up in admin.

Thanks! I thought we had one already since we have customized our TKB but I'm not sure offhand which particular layouts were made.
