how to get Hidden nodes in rest api response?

When a node is hidden from list and menus then that node info doesn't come in xml response when list of nodes are fetched at parent level.   Meaning,   If category A consist of 4 categories named...

did you use rest() or restadmin()?

    I checked with both, it doesn't return hidden boards in any case, I think its the way the APIs are designed to work, unless we use an additional parameter to get the hidden boards in response as well.
