how to get #visits & #unique visitors thru API ?

Hello

I want to get these web traffic metrics thanks to an API call. 

I know I can get these using Bulk API, but it requires to get all day per day, and mine this data... not easy.

So I wonder if this can be done direcly by using retapi, ou search, passing a date period and a forum name ?
