How to know the role of the user.

Hi

Admin can able to see roles of all the users in the community. Is there is anyway to find particular individual user of there own rank.

AbhishekIlindra - No, by default there is no way to show this. You can make a customization where you could display the roles of the users for normal users to see on the user profile page.

You can try V2 call https://community.lithium.com/t5/Community-API-v2/Role-resource/ta-p/154082

or V1 from here: https://community.lithium.com/t5/Community-API/bd-p/developers-rest-api?leaf-id=User.roles#User.roles

There wouldn't be any direct way to get users based on the role, you'll have to loop through a list.

AbhishekIlindra could you specify what you're trying to achieve? I think you can use the Admin User report in order to get what you want ... But you're in the developer forum ... was the question around the Lithium API?

  We need a clarification on role's display.
  For Ex: Admin can goto viewprofilepage where he/she can see user role same way is there anyway to find non-admins can able to find their rank in the UI without use of RestAPI calls.
