How to subscribe a user to board as admin through API

I have to subscribe users to boards on behalf of them using API. How can I do it?   Below API is not working. https://community.lithium.com/restapi/vc//boards/id/Collaboration/subscriptions/subscr...

When I pass subscription type alone, it will subscribe to me.
Not to the user I wanted to.

You can manage only your own subscription.

There is no such API to manage other user's subscription.
