Include Kudos component in Custom component

Hi,

I am creating a custom component for displaying latest messages in a different format.

I need to include a kudo's component inside my component for each message.

I have tried,

<@component id="kudos">

but it does not recoganize the component ID.

Any help, much appreciated.
