Forum Discussion
It really depends what you want to display, and how much effort you want to put into it!
I can think of three ways to do it:
1- iFrame
2- ActiveCast
We would like to integrate polls, ratings into our web sites. So with iFrames / Active Cast, it is possible to have them as UI widgets in our pages directly?
And also for the design time for these polls, would it have to be done in Lithium?
Another question, can Q&A, Comments, Kudos be attached to external URL's?

vidyamani - Yes, you can use active cast for polls. See the screenshot below for the available items you can use in ActiveCast.
You can handle the design on your website because that is where your actual content would be rendering. I havent tried it yet but I am certain about that.
Could you elaborate your concern about external URLs?

I have a web site designed (external URL) outside of Lithium and I would like a Comments, Q&A be available as widget in this page. So how would the linking be done. Can I create a standalone Q&A component widget in Lithium and then put that with the id in my page?
Also for answering the polls - how does user management work - can I use my social management logins and participate in the polls?
By design, I was referring to the actual poll creation. That has to be done in Lithium right?
