Integrating a survey into the customer forum

Hi,

we would like to make a survey about our customer forum.

 

The survey itself is hosted on our local server, we "just" want to display a popup showing the survey, when the user is leaving the forum (following an URL, which links to outside of our forum). Did anybody use the unload() fct. of jQuery in a custom component, to invoke an external URL from within the forum? Did you follow other approaches to splash up your survey?

 

Any hints are welcome :smileysurprised:

    Hi Dietmar,

     

    We'd like to do something similar, but we haven't looked into the technical details.  Your post might just contain the answer!  I'll let you know if we attempt to do it this way, or if we accomplish it in another way.
