Internal error 500

Hi,

I have several community members reporting they are receiving an internal 500 error when attempting to log into the community. They were able to log in previously, but no longer can.

Does anyone have an idea of why this could be happening?

Thanks for taking a moment to reply! I have and unfortunately they seem to be perplexed as well...

  • Hi Leandra_N ,

This happens if the user's account has been deleted in the community and attempts to login/register again with the community using the same credentials. After GDPR, Lithium soft deletes an account (upon account close) for 10 days and hence does not allow registering with the same credentials in the community. You may ask the user to try after 10 days from the time his/her account was deleted.

    Hope this helps!

EDIT: During the soft period of time, it is possible to undo an account deletion and restore the deleted user account (if it was by mistake!). To request an account restore, open a support ticket with Lithium.

    Thanks,
    Srujana.
