label-name parameter

I am trying to get the current label value from the URL path with webuisupport.path.parameters.name.get("label-name","") but this doesn't return a string as expected but a lithium.eval.velocity.TextLabelTemplateModel object wrapped into f.e.b.StringModel.

Is this a bug or some undocumented feature?

Please advise
