Lithium Bulk Uploader - Chrome Extension V1

Hi All


We have just released a new Chrome extension that we hope you'll find useful in Studio.

Idea and coding by bowenli and peterlu 

 

Just install the extension in Chrome and then visit the Asset Library > Other Assets area.

The extension provides an intuitive file management and uploading environment for the Lithium Studio.


* Improved UI for file management


* Bulk file uploading with progress bar


* Safer Delete file process with confirmation


The extension has been tested within Lithium v14.8, v14.9 and v14.10 however it should work with all previous versions.

 

** Note on Permissions **
The "Your data on all websites" permission is required to actually add the plugin on to the Lithium “Other Assets” page only. It's not used for anything else.

    Since we have this plugin, it saves 1-2 hours of my everyday dev time. No more refreshing the page and less swearing in office. Happy ending. This plugin seems to work for all uploading forms, including rank icons etc. Need more testing though.

    Very cool Chris!  Can't wait to play around with this.  Is there an open-source repo (on github or somewhere else) for this that devs can contribute to?

      DougS  If we get enough interest from contributors we'll consider opening the source. We have some added features yet to come.
