Lithium Response - Reddit Comments RSS

Hello! Newbie here.

 

Have been using the Lithium Response to respond to RSS feeds from reddit. Things are working fine when I try to respond to RSS feeds of posts in a subreddit, but not to comments (i.e. https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/.rss).  Response can't direct me to the website when I try to open the conversation in RSS. The link indicates the ff error: https://razerdev.response.lithium.com/account/notFound. 

 

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

    Hey there, HerzonT! We also use the RSS ingest method for our engagement activities on Reddit. After looking at the r/videos URL in your original post, I'm thinking this might have something to do with how you've set up the ingest.

    In our example, we use https://www.reddit.com/r/Comcast_Xfinity/new.rss to ingest all new content from our Reddit community into Lithium. Using the "new" sort allows us to keep things in chronological order (and actually solved some ingest issues for us a while back when Reddit was updating their redesign). You'll notice that the url ends in "/new.rss" instead of "/.rss" . While that is a valid URL, I think Response is getting confused as that doesn't actually point to a valid post and might be where you're running into trouble.

    My suggestion would be to try updating your ingest URL to see if it fixes this behavior.
