Maximum number of characters allow in Subject Line

Hi All,   Can anyone help me how many maximum number of characters lithium allows in the Subject line and is there any admin settings available to control it.

    it's a setting, so yes you should be able to read and set it via rest as an admin: 

    /restapi/vc/settings/name/layout.truncate_length.message_subject

ChiaraS : The following setting is it a Text key or Rest Call.

 

We can able to see the changes if we perform a rest call to it and is there any settings/text Key available for it.

it's a setting, so yes you should be able to read and set it via rest as an admin:
