New Notifications Rest API
The Lithium CMS alerts the user of new notifications in the header beside the bell icon.
What determines notifications to be flagged as new? Is there a way to implement this using the API?
In the Notification API, the response gives us back a list of objects however there is no property to indicate 'read' or 'unread'.

currently this information is not conveyed within the REST API. I suggest that you post an idea in our idea board, or add your vote / comment to existing ones such as this . There have been a few requests recently around REST and notifications and this is the best way to gather visibility around this need.
