SessionKey does not return when using company login

Hi all,

 

When try and connect to retrieve a session key from my community site  as an employee

http://Community.K2.com/restapi/vc/authentication/sessions/loginuser.login=User&user.password=Password

 

I get the

User Authentication failed.

 

But I am able to Login normally.


So when I login after I click log out I supply my User name as an email address

username : user.hart@k2.com

password:password

 

But if I go to the website my AD User name automaticallly gets detected and I am logged in.

 

In the URL above if I supply my login as an email I get a problem with the length of the user name.

 

So I can retrieve a session key from your site but not our site.

    Hi darrynh 

     

    from a quick look it seems that your community is using a single sign on. Therefore - if you are using your SSO credentials to authenticate using the Lithium authentication system it will not work.

     

    If you use Lithium SSO - then you should be able to pass that as an authentication token. Have a look at the following page that should explain all the details.
