  • Completely agree. I've raised an idea for better support for concurrent development here:

    One of the most important reasons for this is the need to be able to release high-priority changes whilst there are longer-term changes in development. However, it's reasonable to have an arbitrary number of development streams that can be merged.

     

    Technologically speaking, this is very feasible - Subversion supports merging natively. Unfortunately, there is no direct acces to the SVN repository, and Studio does not have any features to support concurrent development and merges.

     

    I know this is already on Lithium's radar, but raising the profile of the issue can only help to get a speedy resolution :)
