The page size of threads is confusing

Hello,

It's written that the maximum results per page for threads is 100, but it's also written in the "query arguments" section that the maximum is 1000. I'm confused which one is true?

https😕/lithosphere.lithium.com/t5/Developer-Documentation/bd-p/dev-doc-portal?section=commv1&leaf-id=Board.threads#Board.threads

Thanks,

NIck

  • JeffSt My apologies for the delay. I just heard back from Engineering. The default is 25 and the max is 1000.

  • I think that may just be a typo in the docs; SuzieH can you confirm?

The max per page should be 1000.

    Nick3 ,

There are some cases where api results per page to 100.

In that case you can increase this limit by raising ticket to support .

Do you have more details about those specific cases?

I want to use a default API page size of 250 for my threads, but I need to be sure that it will always be true and I won't get any errors.

If I can't have the confirmation that I'm safe with more than 100, I will not go over that limit.

If you see that you're already getting more than 100 results, then you're good. If you are not, you should open a support case. Lithium Support won't increase the value if there is some problem with doing so, so you shouldn't have to worry about doing 250 if they happen to increase to that as a max threshold.
