Trigger REST export on new event e.g. new Discussion

Question

Hi everybody,&nbsp;I was wondering if there is any way to implement triggers to the the system which get triggered every time lets say a new Disucssion is created. Said trigger should then perform a defined action liek for example perform a REST call to an outside resource exporting the new Discussion title.&nbsp;Is something like that possible&nbsp;with this system?&nbsp;Thanks!&nbsp;cheersAndy

I found somehting similar that should lead to the same result.

An event subscription with callback:

This seems to be very old though, is there an equivalent in API v2 by any chance?

Thanks, stumbled over that one as well. Do you know by any chance if there's an equivalent in the v2 API or is this still the way to do it?After all, that artcle is almost six years old :)&nbsp;cheers
