Updating our SSO Cookies and Need Help

Hello all,

 

We are updating our SSO cookies and need to be able to test on STAGE before pushing to PROD. We were told by Lithium that we need to create a separate sso page just for staging and tie that into the community via the community admin sso settings. I can't find any information on how to do that?

 

  1. Has anyone done this before and can provide some instructions?
  2. Are  there any suggestions or best practices on updating SSO  cookies on an already existing Community?

    Hi stacias,

    If you already have login and registration in your test environment, all you would need to do would be to update the URL to registration page and URL to sign in page fields in Admin > System > SSO of your Stage environment so that they point to your test environment. 

     

    If those pages do not exist in your test environment, you'll need to create them. You can base them off the page versions in production. You'll find steps for integrating with the SSO client in the  About Single Sign-On article in the SSO_Guide_17_12.pdf attachment at the end of the article.
