userInfo with Ranking Formula

Can you please tell me where I can find some documentation on what I am allowed to call with the userInfo fucntion when creating a custom ranking formula?   Thanks

     To my knowledge, there is not a list of documented parameters that you can call / use inside the ranking system.  Ideally, the tooltip within the admin would be comprehensive and list them all.

    There are variables for deleted also, but rather than having to compute that, I think it is better to just give you the 'net' variables.  Here they are:

     

    net_idea_threads
    net_idea_comments
    net_blog_articles
    net_blog_comments

     

    The TKB article variable that I supplied earlier is actually for the number of "Knowledge Base Articles Started" (not how many were actually published, much less, how many were deleted)

Here are the variables (note, these are not the 'net' variables - so if somebody creates a blog article, deletes it, and then another one is created - the variable below credits them with two articles):

 

Respond to poll = n/a (not a metric / variable we're tracking on a per-user basis that can be presently used)

Submit idea = idea_thread

Comment on idea = idea_comments

Create a TKB article = tkb_articles

Blog post = blog_articles

Comment on a blog post = blog_comments

 

In regards to your two additional questions:

 

1)  How would I access the value of a custom profile field in the ranking formula?

Are you using an SSO token to populate the custom profile field?  If so, you would have to utilize the variable name in the token - EXAMPLE - a 'French' rank needs to have the following in the Ranking formula && (userInfo("profile.language") == "fr") in order for users to fall into the French version of the Rank ladder (where profile.language is the custom profile field variable).  If you're not using SSO to populate this field, please let me know in a subsequent post and I'll try to help.

 

2)  what is the TKB contribution score in the doc and how is it earned?

A very obscure question (but, also, a very good one).  This score is used to rank contributors for a TKB article that is a mashup of forum messages.  I'm pretty sure we dont expose it as a variable in our rank formulas (nor have I ever had a customer that wanted to use this score as a variable), but if you want to try out a variable, try message_contributor_relations
