View topics immediately after posting not working

When I enable this setting, View topics immediately after posting, it still take me to board rather than the topic which I just posted. Enabling/disabling it doesn't make any difference.

I want users to go to the threads page when they post, not on the boards page.

    Hey Gursimrat

    This was actually identified previously as a bug whereby this setting works for replies within topics but not for new topics.  Unfortunately, the bug isn't currently queued for a fix but I'll make a note on the ticket that this has been brought up again.


    I'll keep you posted of any progress.

      This option does not appear to be working for me whatsoever. Nothing happens whether it is checked or not.

      I'm pleased to say that the fix for this bug is being rolled out in 14.11.

        Okay, then I understood wrong this feature.

         

        We have enabled that setting "View topics immediately after posting" but after posting user have to click "Successfull, view your post clicking here" -link to see his/hers post. And I dont like that feature, in every other forum people can see his/hers post immediately, without any clicks.
