Aurora: Reject individual posts or replies as spam

Admins and Moderators can reject individual posts or replies to posts as spam and have that information added to the automated spam rejection filter logs. This is a great way to help the Khoros spam filter learn about what content you deem inappropriate on your site.

To reject a specific post as spam:

  1. Sign in to your community site as an Admin or Moderator.
  2. Find the post you want to reject as spam.
  3. Open the Options menu and click Reject.
  4. In the Reject Content window, select Spam and click Reject.

A confirmation message is displayed indicating that the post has been marked as spam:


Similarly, you can reject a reply to the post as spam:

 


If you mistakenly marked a post or reply as spam, you can recover it immediately on the post itself by opening the 
Options menu and clicking Mark as Not Spam:


Note:
If you mark a post as spam and change your mind later, you can recover the message.
