how to read/create FormData object in FreeMarker?

Question

Hi,&nbsp;We are using endpoints to connect with&nbsp;thirdparty API by using http.client FreeMarker Objects.&nbsp;For one of the third &nbsp;party POST api call we have to send the multipart/form-data request, for that we have to build the FormData object.&nbsp;In Javascript we can achieve this by using FormData.E.X.:&nbsp;var data = new FormData();data.append("content","&lt;p&gt;Hello World&lt;/p&gt;");&nbsp;How can we achieve this using FreeMarker?&nbsp;Your help could be highly appreciated.&nbsp;Thanks &amp; Regards,Phani&nbsp;

Hi&nbsp;phani.I think the http.client context object is what you're looking for, here's the documentation:&nbsp;http://community.lithium.com/t5/Developers-Knowledge-Base/http-client-FreeMarker-Context-Object/ta-p/80614.You can easily create a post/get request using the following format:http.client.request("protocol", "host", "url").post()You can also set the parameters that you want to send using:http.client.request("protocol", "host", "url").parameter("name", "value")Hope this helps.Nic

Hi&nbsp;nicgutierrez,&nbsp;Thank you for your reply on this.&nbsp;Using&nbsp;http.client context object we can POST call with parameters. But in our requirement we wnat to send FormData as a parameter like how we can achive in JavaScript by creating FormData object&nbsp;E.X.:&nbsp;var data = new FormData()&nbsp;Do you think is there any way we can achieve this using&nbsp;http.client context object?
