Why all the excitement over Manage View?
Moderating a large community is challenging; you have multiple boards, discussion styles, types of users, and tons of content. Wouldn't it be great to have a broad view of everything happening in your community? Manage View offers a simple solution to gain community-wide insight, making it the perfect daily starting point. And the big secret? Manage View is already available for you to start using today.
How about a few surface-level benefits?
Okay, I'm excited, how can I use Manage View right now?
Getting started couldn't be easier; simply click the 'manage' option. If this option isn't visible, or you want to grant another user view access, here's how you or your Care Admin can quickly enable it.
Manage View offers a simple command center interface, with columns that can be built up with specific boards, topics, user ranks, unanswered posts, and more, giving you a panoramic glimpse into your community. From Manage View, you can quickly take action through Khoros’ fully-capable Response tool, or you can jump straight to that post in the community for advanced moderation options.
Looks like the secret is out.
It’s time for moderators to get familiar with Manage View for Community Management and Moderation: we’ve got an entire development plan set to bring out more moderation and management capabilities in 2020. Are you Interested in broad community moderation but not yet using Khoros Care? We have a new Add On available for this feature, or you can speak to your account rep about trying it out!

Is the roadmap available for us to see what is coming?
@StanGromer definitely! @DaveEv can speak to it directly and coordinate through your usual account and customer success managers.
@StanGromer I'd be happy to take you and your team at AnaPlan through the Manage View for Community roadmap. Thank you for your interest 🙂
We have been using the agent function for community moderation for over 7 months now. Based on this article it seems like the roadmapped improvements will be based on the use of Manage, am I correct?
@CyJervis That is correct: Manage View, which supports multiple columns versus the single "Available Queue" is being built out to offer a true Moderation and Management workflow. But it gets better: with a single click a moderator who also has resolution responsibility (and so who needs Agent view) can assign community posts to themselves or other colleagues and then take advantage of the resolution workflow of Agent view when resolving those specific issues.
Let me know if you'd like a tour: I'd be happy to take you through what we are building right now. 🙂
@DaveEv definitely, would love it - Spoiler alert to my first question as its the firs thing I tried but didn't see in there: Any plans to fully support Idea Exchanges such as being able to change statuses/use statuses as filters in the different columns? I'm essentially thinking kanban style board to sort ideas by filters/labels to drill down into that stuff.
@DaveEv Of course, I would love a walk through.
I won't get into all my issues with Care for moderation here but I'm hoping the changes aren't just to workflow but also adding functionality between Care and Community. Currently we need to bounce between the two platforms for each post to get moderation done.
@CyJervis Yes!! The work being done now in MV is designed to integrate with both Agent (for mods who also resolve issues) and with Community (one of the fundamental All-Star requests) for both advanced/nuanced mod actions and for generally staying in and aware of the community.
