I never have a shortage of things I'd love to do. My backlog is always jammed with loads of stuff waiting to be implemented . I'd recommend community managers reach out to their members at least yearly and survey them about the value they are getting from the community and any feedback about how the site could be improved. You can then use this feedback to create a list of initiatives that you can prioritise based on a effort vs impact matrix. A simple trello board can be a good way of keeping your list of initiatives in order of what is currently most important to tackle next. At the moment I'm banking points so we have plenty to use when it comes to moving to Aurora. I'm withCyJervisthat reviewing customisations would be a good way to spend them currently. Jason

Another one. I would love to hear from communities that are doing onboarding well. Particularly those that have guided intros for new members, a series of onboarding messages, etc.

One thing we tried was running a series of "Community Champions" feature posts in one of our prominent Workplace groups. So basically making heroes of our team members who were going above and beyond on the community to help customers. They enjoyed the recognition, it was hopefully something they could show their boss, and it hopefully it also helped spread the word about the community. Jason

I'm still interested in the idea of turning off all Khoros-powered email notifications and using Salesforce Marketing Cloud instead. Despite the potential and power of email notifications, it just seems Khoros has little interest in investing in this area. We haven't seen anything in over a decade. Jason

I think it would be in Khoros' interest to add functionality to the platform that allows the triggering of a member survey to be able to track lifetime value. I would trigger it just after registration so you have a base, and then push to the member again each year. That way you can track the impact the community is having on whatever metrics you choose, for example sales, loyalty, confidence, NPS. CSAT, etc. Jason

Great suggestions already. I would focus on money-can't buy experiences. For example, an event at your HQ where you show off your superusers to your company's leaders and vice versa. Many superusers also greatly value access to your team such as support or product managers. Jason
