Dave got his first computer in 1982, quickly mastering the BASIC programming language and creating his own video games. He has now spent over twenty-five years in the security software industry, primarily managing SQA teams, overseeing public beta tests, and leading online support communities like this one. Before his software career, Dave was an award-winning public librarian for over a decade, earning national recognition (though librarians deserve higher pay!).
