I wanted to share a little more color on the incident and the actions we’ve taken since. Overview of our Marketing Incidents As many of you know, the Khoros Marketing platform was recently the target of a malicious security attack by a well-known bad actor. We know it’s been a difficult couple of weeks for our customers, and we are grateful for your patience and partnership — we are stronger because of it. In the spirit of that partnership, we want to share a comprehensive summary of recent events so you have the full context of what happened, the steps we took, and our preventative steps to protect your brand even further in the future. Khoros Social Marketing and Vault are Now LIVE Thank you again for your continued patience and feedback. We have re-enabled access to Khoros Social Marketing and Vault products. NEW OUTAGE ALERT: Khoros Marketing Platform With great regret, I am reporting that we have temporarily shut down access to the full Khoros Marketing platform due to a second malicious attack instigated by a third party. We are investigating now. All access is currently suspended, as is publishing activity. ACCESS RESTORED: Khoros Social Marketing, Intelligence, Experiences Access to Khoros Social Marketing, Intelligence and Experience products has now been re-enabled. Our mobile app, Vault, and Promotions are still suspended. Users who reset their Khoros Marketing Platform in the past 48 hours (as of this notice) will need to create a new password. While we work to complete our security protocols, our Engineering team is also working to minimize the impact of phishing.
