For example, http://community.lithium.com/t5/Online-training/230-Lithium-Social-Web-for-Supervisors-and-Managers/ta-p/116385 has a broken link to the course link http://community.lithium.com/lithium/plugins/custom/lithium/lithiumlearningsso/auth?desturl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lithiumlearning.com%2Flive%2Fhome%2Fdocument.php%3FC%3Dvlithiumtechnologies.230%26dA%3Dvlithiumtechnologies.230DP It seems to be common all the way around for the articles - hope this helps! Re: Displaying First/Last Name in Post on a Per-Board Basis Thanks for the confirmation VarunGrazitti ! I found the ancestors context, so I will toy around with some different ideas and then I will reach out if I need additional help on this. I greatly apprecriate it! Displaying First/Last Name in Post on a Per-Board Basis I have a group of lead users who use three boards specifically for communication amongst themselves. One of the moves from using a forum like Google Groups were to give up the ability to show their First and Last Names in responses to each other. We lost that ability to build connections in the simpliest form by forcing them to only see each other's usernames. I would like to work at breaking that by displaying their names that we gather from our SSO and display them in the post for those few forums they use specifically. Based on what I can tell, I will need to add a component that will show X user information for only X users with this role using Freemarker. I don't see a way to only make it for the post listing within those forums. Is this something that is possible to do? Or am I disconnected from another way to do it? Thank you for your help! Custom TKB Article Pages and Styling I am looking at using the TKB setup to create an area that will house detailed information about some of our lead users in the company for an internal-only category. I would like to custom the TKB article page to display the information on a single row so I can have more room available and look at the possibilities of adding custom components to share some detailed information about the user from inside the Community, such as their recent messages and time online for a quick snapshot of the users overall activity. My first question: What is the naming scheme to override a TKB article page for the specific TKB? My second question: What would be the best way to pull the users information dynamically for 20+ different users? Should I create an endpoint to gather this data? Any tips? Re: Hiding Embedded Video For Guests Thanks both for the quick reply! I want to run my plan by you to see if I am on the right track before I start diving in. As VarunGrazitti suggested - I could embed the video with the same unique ID each time. Can I make this a post in the forums/blogs feature and still have the same functionality? If so, then I will just need to setup a custom component with the user.anonymous tag with the Jquery inside the tag. Does that sound right to you? As a newbie question - If the custom component is the way to go, do I just add the component to the "Forum Message" page type to make it appear when the post is loaded up? Thanks again for the help! I am having a blast playing around with the possibilities. Live Q&A Setup We currently host a Live Q&A on a monthly basis with various "experts". We have positioned them as a one-hour long session where people just ask questions and receive responses. We typically have a board setup that the people will post questions in and then the expert will respond in that topic. The problem for us is that the experts don't see the questions populate without a refresh and being in the topic listing - same goes for the guests. IF we host this in a single topic, then the same issue arises, except it is more noticeable to the guests who are just watching all of the questions to find answers of their own. I searched through the Community to find examples of this being done, and I came across this topic that was asked last year. I would guess that making a custom component would still be the best option to make something like this work. How difficult would it be to save the information that was said during the QA? Is it being treated like a post in a single topic that is updating as it goes? Have you seen a working example of something like this on another Lithium community? http://community.lithium.com/t5/Technology/Can-you-host-live-video-chat-and-Q-amp-A-in-a-Lithium-community/m-p/104297/highlight/true#M22 Thanks for the tips in advance! Hiding Embedded Video For Guests We are looking at the possibilities of hosting webinars on our community platform. In the past, we had a registration form that people would fill out and then they would receive a link to our webinar. We want people to be a part of our Community and to provide some additional engagement since some of these webinars are customer-focused. Is there a way to hide an embedded video that can only be seen when logged in? If not, is there is a fun work around that could be setup to limit it's visibility without logging in? SolvedRe: Studio for Dummies (or for those who just have too much going on at once) I love this idea! You can only read so much on the community before you are just stumped. It might make more sense if I was deep into the code often.. but sometimes I just need to make an edit or alter a position and I don't want to wait X weeks to ensure it's completed. Re: Training - Broken LinksFantastic! I know that site overhauls are a pain and wanted to make sure the small things were reported!
