ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsCommunities 2021: Mid-year Update As we finish the first half of the year and enter the second, let’s review where we are and also take a sneak peek into some exciting things on the anvil. With new ways to drive user engagement, more efficient ways of community management, advanced analytics and a completely re-imagined community experience, this is an exciting time for Khoros Communities. Let's dive in! Re: Close community member accounts A delete will permanently anonymize the personal data of the members and attribute the content to an anonymous user. All anonymous users will have a standard username and a default avatar to distinguish it from other members. We will make the change. Leaning towards 'Rich Link Previews' ... Re: Slack - Community Integration Have you tried thisPatrickEmin? Re: Khoros Community Classic - invest in custom features or just wait for Aurora? Sure CyJervis. We are planning an update to the roadmap doc in the coming days. As a quick note till then, we are largely on track with a few adjustments based on feedback and other conversations. Work is underway to get Events and Ideas ready for Aurora. On Content Editor and Publication workflow, we advanced some enhancements such as markdown support, anchor tags and keyboard shortcuts. Across the last two releases, we have added support for Custom Widgets and Content Workflow & Approval. More flavours of SSO are now available self-serve and we are prioritising support for Dual-Auth to earlier than otherwise planned. Same is the case with support for management of Tags. Re: Khoros Community Classic - invest in custom features or just wait for Aurora? Thought of clarifying that there isnosoftware cost for the Aurora upgrade. Costs, if any, will be for any customizations that you would want on the new UX. It is quite possible that many of the existing ones would become unnecessary given the richer, out-of-the-box experience and configuration options in Aurora. Any customizations that you want to apply on Aurora would need to be designed for the Aurora UX. This is where the need for Dev Dollars could come in. Community Aurorais a great place for everything on Aurora andRelease Notes(we have a new one coming out every month😉)captures the latest capabilities in this new version of Community. The right timeline to move to Aurora, we think, is best arrived at by a review of current capabilities on Aurora, what's planned in the coming quarters and the need for customizations. It could vary community-to-community. Please feel free to reach out to your CSM for a conversation and we can work with you to develop the right plan. We can also make the right kind of environments available (QA/Stage/Pre-prod etc.) for you to test the capabilities yourself. Hope this helps. Re: Khoros ideas and Salesforce Yeslolagoetz. and mdfwthose are part of the plan for Ideas on Aurora. Integrations with tools such a JIRA/Aha/Product Board, Export of Ideas and Bulk Management including automation rules (archive based on parameters, create a jira ticket based on set conditions around age, votes etc ...) are elements we are looking at. Also under consideration is support for placeholder template/text (on Idea Create form to aid better Idea submissions) and the ability to power Idea Campaigns (for time-boxed gathering of Ideas on a specific theme). We target to deliver these in phases; first version in Q3 with additional capabilities delivered incrementally over the monthly releases. Do let us know if you would like to review these in detail and we would be happy to set up some time. Re: Khoros ideas and Salesforce themariaGreat to see the product team wanting to actively engage with Ideas. While on this topic, I just wanted to add that we are currently in the midst of adding support for Ideas on Aurora and we are working on incorporating multiple suggestions and feedback from it's usage on Classic. One of the key drivers is enhancing it for the internal Product teams wanting to engage more deeply and actively with customers for Ideas. Sharing couple of screenshots for an early glimpse. We would be happy to share more or get on a call to discuss more. We would love to ensure that the enhanced version meets your needs and take it beyond what we have today. cc:MeghanaS Re: What's changed in Aurora from Community Classic teavirdisWhile GraphQL APIs is the preferred way for the future, the REST v1/v2 APIs would continue to be supported for now. The plan is to eventually deprecate REST v1/v2, but the EoL date is TBD at this time. Re: Khoros Communities 22.12 Release HiDrew_CtywSure, we will look into the issue and circle back. Thanks.
