MohammedF- Thank you for your response! Will this be the same for when new users register for an account? Currently, usernames allow underscores and dashes, as outlined here. Is there a plan to make this experience consistent?

MSmith_iTalent I'm sorry, that's not expected behaviour. Users can register with usernames that include underscores, and the expected behaviour is it should also be possible to edit usernames to include underscores. However, we are currently experiencing some issues with editing usernames that include underscore and dash. A ticket has been filed for this, and we are working on a solution.
