Khoros Marketing Release Notes, April 2020
Welcome to the new Khoros Marketing Release Notes.
At the end of every month, we will publish a recap of all new Khoros Marketing features and updates. As you know, Khoros Marketing releases new features as soon as they are ready. So, in addition to the individual feature-level Marketing Product Blog for each release throughout the month, this monthly Marketing Release Notes digest will cover a summary.
While we know that you will learn about many of these features through the Khoros Marketing Blog and in-app notifications, it’s nice to have everything collected in one place for easy reference.
To stay up to date on everything that’s happening in Khoros Marketing, we recommend you subscribe to both the Marketing Release Notes and the Khoros Marketing Blog.

Social Marketing Analytics
Conversion Metrics
Conversion metrics help you understand the value of your ad spend. Use these metrics to see how your Facebook and Instagram ads are performing so that you can repeat tactics that are working, or course correct as necessary.
Learn more about these metrics and Social Marketing widgets.
LinkedIn Video Metrics
We are now ingesting the newly available LinkedIn video metrics of clicks, impressions, and shares in addition to the ones already available.
Learn more about which metrics are available in each social channel.
Social Marketing Ad Account Administration
Ad Account Granular Permissions
With the introduction of Ad Account Granular Permissions, in the administration settings area of Khoros Social Marketing, users with a Company Admin or Manager role in the product can explicitly specify which initiatives the ad account’s data should be visible in. This keeps the implicit mapping between ad accounts/initiatives/social accounts, but adds a control to dictate which mappings are allowed.
Learn more about the new ad account authentication workflow.
Ad Account Activity Log
For even greater visibility into their teams’ actions, users are now able to see the following actions taken in their ad accounts:
- Added
- Authenticated
- De-Authenticated
- Deleted
- Authenticated Facebook owner {first name, last name}
This new feature is located within the Administration section of the Khoros Social Marketing product. Learn more.
Social Marketing Approvals Service
Rejections Export
The Approvals Service Rejections export gives users visibility into their teams' operations. Allowing you to review the times when your teams’ approvers have found issues in content drafted for publication means greater visibility into what is working and what is not in order to inform process improvements. With an increasing need to govern content across complex teams and a myriad of internal and legal standards, these Approvals + Rejections exports provide a comprehensive look for why a piece of content or a response was rejected, by whom, and when.

Calendar Performance upgrade
In an effort to put more time back in your hands, we have completed an upgrade to ElasticSearch 7, which will make the Calendar perform faster and more reliably.
Learn more about the Calendar in this area of Atlas.
Experiences & Intelligence
New Consent Workflow for Instagram content
To make it easier for you to find and use user-generated content (UGC) in your brand marketing, we are bringing back the ability to request user consent on Instagram content in Experiences or from Intelligence search results.
Learn more about the new workflow and about consent in general for Experiences.
