To stay up to date on everything that’s happening in Khoros Marketing, we recommend you subscribe to both the Marketing Release Notes and the Khoros Marketing Blog.

Coming Soon: Marketing API changes

In Mid-to-late April 2021, Marketing API documentation will be moving from devcenter.spredfast.com to developer.khoros.com as we consolidate our Khoros Developer Documentation into one location. The legacy Spredfast Dev Center will no longer be available as of April 30.

Coming Soon: New Oauth 2.0 Token Generation Flow

In addition, we will also be adding a new workflow to generate the OAuth 2.0 token used for API authorization that seats this feature directly within your profile settings.

By separating the token generation workflow from the documentation, we can provide a more seamless experience to developers and administrative users. As a result of this new flow, and the migration of developer documentation to developer.khoros.com, the current process for token generation is expected to sunset in mid April.

Stay tuned for future announcements and details regarding these changes here in the Marketing Release Notes and in our Developer Blog.

Social Marketing Settings updates

As part of our continuing work to provide a unified navigation experience between all Khoros products and integrations, the Social Marketing Settings menu is moving out of the Avatar menu (where you would previously click Company Settings) and into a universal gear wheel Settings icon that appears to the right of Mentions (@) for those users who have access to these settings.

Note: We are in the process of updating all Marketing Learning documentation to reflect these changes. As a result, some articles might have screenshots or link references that are slightly out of date for a short time.

Going forward, you’ll see updated instructions that direct you to Social Marketing Settings to manage Admin tasks. For example:

Social Marketing Settings > User Management > Users

will replace:

Company Settings > User Management > Users

When you are directed to “Go to Social Marketing Settings," just click the Settings icon and select the desired subsection from the left menu as usual.

Title support for Pinterest posts

We now offer title support for Pinterest posts. When creating or editing a Pinterest post, you can add an image title by clicking on the Title tab under the message box and entering the title. The title length can be a maximum of 100 characters.

Updated Instagram Account Authentication Process

The Instagram authentication process in Intelligence has been updated to make it easier to add and remove authenticated Instagram accounts. Previously, authenticating an additional Instagram account required all of the currently authenticated accounts to be removed first.
