Connecting Khoros data to CRM (Salesforce)

Hi folks, 

Jadah here. 

I am looking for help/any guidance to see if anyone's done an integration between your Khoros community and your organization's CRM, specifically w/ Khoros. 

I am aware that Khoros connects to SFDC's customer care (service cloud), but we are looking to connect it to the Sales/the Experience Cloud

  • Have you talked to Khoros about what the existing connector can do?  I would think it can still sync most of the data over on a user level at least.

    We've integrated with Zendesk in some basic ways at my current org, slowly expanding it as we go. We're just leveraging each others APIs based on the use case. 

    I believe a few of the Khoros third party vendors (Italent/Grazziti) offer solutions as well via their own connectors they have built to expand functionality in a lot of ways.

    Thanks for the connection.  FYI, at this time, we are looking into solutions we can work on in-house. I'd appreciate any help!

    Thanks, StanGromer ! I'll try again. We've had several conversations w/ our CSM but there might be some confusion w the service cloud v. the sales cloud. I just came across this part of the Khoros site and I'm happy to see SFDC service cloud listed 

    Pretty cool to have Zendesk integrated! May I ask your team's use case for this? We use Zendesk too and were also looking into this to build a case for support deflection.

    We've expanded on the work we did for building a unified search to actually have the ZD articles fully displayed/styled in Community.  We don't have it live yet in production for various reasons (politics, money), but hopefully one day.
