"Do Not Notify Subscribers" when moving posts with API?

Hi,

 

Is there a way to enable the "Do Not Notify Subscribers" option when moving threads using the API? We're creating an archiving component but it's triggering notifications, lots and lots of them, and we don't want to spam our users.

      Thanks for the tip, PaoloT. Unfortunately we were trying to avoid that situation, we wanted to be able to move (or archive) posts without having to disable the notifications for the whole community.

        thanks for the clarification.  I believe there is an idea that was posted today and picked up quite some interest (I see you have voted it already). Hopefully it will be reviewed soon!
