Embedding a Lithium Discussion thread as comment thread, like Disqus

Question

We're looking to integrate Social Learning into our LMS. At the present time, that means adding some blog like commenting to eLearning videos. We'd like to keep all the discussion and commenting in one place, both for Searching and for Management.

Can anyone point me at any resources for incorporating a Lithium Forum or Thread on an arbitrary page, sort of like how Disqus can manage the comments posts to a blog page?

If the Talkback widget doesn't exactly meet your needs, building a custom solution using our REST API is always an option. There are many REST API methods available for obtaining thread and user data, as well as for posting new messages and updating content.
