You need to adjust the default see and read permissions for hidden boards to deny. So, that admins can get the results but not normal/regular users. For more info, you can just go through this link

Make sure you're not testing with an admin account. I think admin will always see all board results. 

I am looking for the discussion's which are archived, should not be able to search when we do a search in Lithium's community own search box.
