Moving draft blog articles by API

Team,

looking to pick some brains here, we are shutting down and moving some blog articles to new locations in the community. Moving the published blog articles by API is dead simple but the script doesn’t seem to work for draft articles. The system throws access denied on APIv1.

I tried APIv2 but it seems to publish the blog article in the process. Has anyone ever been able to use the API to move draft blog articles between blogs while maintaining their position in the workflow?? Blogs are using v3.x

    allensmith81  Moving a draft blog also should work. We have tried on an internal environment and successfully moved an article from one blog  TKB node to another. 

    Moving a Blog draft is failing. We are looking into it.

      is it a way to move article drafts without API? 

      I don't see any options....

    No there is no way to move draft blogs at all today.. except to manually copy the content into a new compose window..
