Posting Content to Khoros Community from External(client) instance

If I would like to post the community content from an external system, what is the best approach? 

if we choose the Rest API, how can we validate the user in the Khoros community?

    We have a Developer Docs portal where you can find detailed information about our Rest APIs, including authentication methods. While I couldn't speak to the best approach for your particular situation, we do have several guides to help you gain an understanding of the Community structure to help you make an educated decision.
