Role management in custom components

    Let me just simplify things for you 

     

    <#if coreNode.permissions.hasPermission("update_community")>

      <!-- Content goes here -->

    </#if>

    Hope this helps to you ... :)

     

    NOTE :- That ties the logic to permissions as opposed to roles
